Prophet Aaron (Harun) was the brother of Prophet Moses. He assisted Moses in his mission to Pharaoh and led the Israelites. He passed away before Moses and was buried on the summit of Mount Hor (now Jabal Harun) near Petra. His tomb sits on Jordan's highest craggy peak in Ma'an Governorate and is a highly respected place of pilgrimage.
