Tomb of Companion Zayd bin Harithah

Companion Zayd bin Harithah was the beloved companion and adoptive son of the Prophet Muhammad, and the only companion mentioned by name in the Quran. He was captured in childhood, sold into slavery, and later freed and raised by the Prophet. He chose to stay with the Prophet over his biological family. He served as the first military commander at the Battle of Mu'tah, where he fought courageously until his martyrdom. He is buried in Al-Mazar al-Janubi, Karak.
