Prophet Noah (Nuh) is one of the five Prophets of Firm Resolve (Ulu al-Azm). He spent centuries calling his people to worship God alone, but they rejected him. God commanded him to build a massive ark, which according to the early historians was structured with three decks: the lower deck for animals, the middle deck for humans, and the upper deck for birds. The Great Flood flooded the entire earth for 150 days and drowned all disbelievers. His shrine is historically registered on a hill north of Karak Castle on the road leading to Ghor al-Safi.
