Companion Maysarah bin Masrooq al-Absi was a brave leader from the Abs tribe who accepted Islam early, fought against false prophets in the Ridda wars, and served as a veteran soldier in the conquests of Syria under Khalid bin al-Walid. He is buried in Al-Subaihi, Balqa Governorate.
