Companion Jabir bin Abdullah was an early Ansar convert who witnessed the Pledge of Aqaba and participated in nineteen battles with the Prophet. He was a major narrator of Hadiths. He lived a very long life, reaching the age of 94, and has a commemorative shrine in Tafilah Governorate.
