The Righteous Ally Abu Sulayman al-Darani was a prominent Sufi mystic, saint, and ascetic of the 3rd century AH, born in Darayya near Damascus. He was highly praised by Al-Dhahabi as the leading spiritual scholar of his age. His teachings focused on sincerity, worship, and spiritual struggles. His shrine is located in Shobak, Ma'an.
