The Battlefield of Pella (Fahl) is the site of the historic Battle of Fahl in 13 AH (635 AD) in the northern Jordan Valley (Irbid Governorate). The Muslim forces, commanded by Abu Ubaidah, achieved a major victory over the Byzantine army, securing northern Jordan and paving the way for the conquest of Damascus.
